The Tomb Raider franchise has been marvelously successful. Long time gamers have needed a thrilling and captivating action/adventure title, and with a female protagonist Tomb Raider delivered just that. But the transition to movie theatres is no doubt going to be a tough one. With multiple flops in the box office, there's a stigma attached to video game to film projects, a pit fall that Tomb Raider has yet to completely fall into, although the last film wasn't great, it certainly wasn't the worst of video game to movie titles.
