The Weekly Set Podcast Episode 140

Regular show discussion is back, as TVEnthusiast's Will and Tyson dive headfirst into the new seasons of 3 shows they frequently cover on the podcast. Before that, though, we cover a few new stories, including Bryan Fuller (Hannibal) working with Anne Rice on a Vampire Chronicles TV series, Conan O'Brien getting his Critters TV adaptation off the ground at Go 90, and the lead casting for Netflix's Riverdale spin-off, based on Sabrina The Teenage Witch. After the news we dive deep into the season premieres of Peaky Blinders, The Magicians, and Black Mirror. Peaky Blinders is holding Tyson over until Taboo's second season, The Magicians is cracking up both Tyson and Will with its use of geek culture as a coded language, and Black Mirror thoroughly pleased Will, while Tyson was less impressed.

Next week (and for the several more weeks to come) we will be continuing our discussions of Black Mirror, Peaky Blinders, and The Magicians.

The Weekly Set is TVEnthusiast’s weekly podcast. Every week, barring few exceptions, Will and Tyson gather to talk about what they have been watching, TV relevant news, and whatever else strikes their fancy.
