Despite the fact that almost all studios are leaping on all forms of superhero property, Fox appears to be very reluctant to release the upcoming Gambit movie in 2019.
The first thing they did was to exclude the film from the slate of their upcoming films, placing it in a complete state of limbo. But even before that event, there had been rumors that Channing Tatum, who is the lead star, was planning to quit the project even though he was the main driving force behind it. This is just one of the reasons that make it hard to tell whether the Gambit movie will be able to premiere in 2019.
