Liz Hannah, the screenwriter of Steven Spielberg’s The Post starring Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks, has just signed on to pen Only Plane in the Sky for MGM. This one also has a political bent, based on a Politico article about the harrowing time immediately following the 9/11 attacks where President George W. Bush and his team were whisked off from a Florida schoolroom and into Air Force One and into the sky — which was considered the safest place to be.
