This weekend will see the release of the film American Made. By all accounts, this seems to be a much stronger film than this year’s The Mummy, which despite good intentions, managed to be a bit of a boring misfire from Universal. With American Made, Tom Cruise seems to be returning to a much more magnetic form as he takes on the role of Barry Seal, a pilot who is recruited by the CIA.
Dinner with the Parents Review: It's a family comedy series following the Langers, who often turn their family dinners into a disruptively chaotic affair.
Baby Reindeer Review: Richard Gadd and Jessica Gunning present a strange relationship of a stalker and her victim.
Amar Singh Chamkila Review: This is a surprisingly memorable watch that is equal parts sweet and raunchy in the best of ways.
Okay, this list included 3 of my favorite performances from Cruise. Algren, Cage, and Grossman. Not only are they my favorite performances by the actor but Edge of Tomorrow and The Last Samurai are 2 of my favorite movies. Good list.
