One reason. The massive amounts of money they are giving her. It sure isn't love for the character or property. She plays a character who is supposed to be all about being who you are and not changing for the world yet pretty much refuses to even look like the character naturally looks.
Plus considering that she is a fantastic actress, she seems like she's been phoning in these performances the last two films. Wish they would have just gotten rid of the character entirely at this point and focused on the original team again as they come into the team.
