The rebooted DC Universe kicks off with Creature Commandos on HBO/Max. Written by James Gunn, the series has many of the elements that made his Guardians of the Galaxy and The Suicide Squad movies successful – an interesting team of misfits, strong comedy, stylish action, and a surprising amount of heart. However, Gunn also included many references and influences from nearly every decade of comic book history. How does an action movie like Alarum mess up its action scenes so much?
Ad Vitam Review: This movie 5 is a frustrating watch. It begins slowly, gets ludicrously silly, but never settles on a footing. Action is forgettable, the story feels like patched-together cliches from greater action movies and performances are lacklustre.
Hopefully, Summerslam doesn't end up being a disappointment but I have a feeling that it will.
It's so hard for me to even care about this PPV. They need another superstar shake up.
