Hmm, feels like bs but I suppose it's a possibility. Would be terrible though. Batfleck is my favorite casting next to Cavill :/

it's a tough call but he does seem to sound tired of the role already. he gets so standoffish when continually asked about it that perhaps he's just feeling far too much pressure on the situation and he feels that no matter what he does he's going to get shit on.

He dosen't seem like he "connects" with fans...a lot of DC film actors feel that way

SarcasticDuck2626d ago

Henry Cavill? the bland, poker face Superman? wow

Porcelain_Chicken2626d ago (Edited 2626d ago )

Can't blame Cavill for the shortcomings of the script. If you see Cavill in interviews, you can tell he's a very charismatic guy. And he's incredibly passionate about the role. Sadly he's at the mercy of the scripts he gets. But ok whatever.

Warner would have contractually tied him to a multi movie deal or whatever the term is called. So he won't be goin anywhere..

dauntingpixel2627d ago

contracts break all the time.

Porcelain_Chicken2626d ago

Wasn't he tied to a 10 movie contract?! Or was that Leto?

Aldous_Snow2626d ago (Edited 2626d ago )

He can walk away and Warner will bankrupt him or they could come to an agreement sohe can buy his way out if he's that desperate to leave.

Can only see him stayin put because of those reasons

The angry, jaded, older Batman was where I was willing to put my bets on. The street-level Batman appealed to me, For all his fighting with criminals has always seemed aristocratic. Affleck bought that Boston swagger to this character. It even showed in his workout routine. It was jailhouse.
This happy-go-lucky Batman cracking jokes and what-not is not my thing. The justice League trailer makes me wince. Suicide Squad made him a baffoon.
Affleck must know what true Batman fans know. These portrayals of his character are wrong. Better to give it to someone else.

I wouldn't be surprise, in Batman vs Superman Affleck looked so force into being Batman, everyone is praising him just because that one scene when he beats crap out of everyone in the last part of the movie but thats was the only good part of the entire film! and that's definitely not a good thing.

I think it's because the fight scene felt more comic book like then the grounded, more realistic like fights in Nolans trilogy with Bale

That's it really. I'm sure if any other guy was in that role they'd be praised just the same. It's like picking the best things out of shit will make them look 10 times better

Porcelain_Chicken2621d ago

No everyone is praising him because we finally got a good Batman. The movie itself may not have been great but Affleck nailed the role. From being in peak physical condition, to the charm he had as Bruce in some of the scenes, to the bitterness he had in some of the Wayne manor scenes, to a Batman voice that didn't make him sound like he gargling rocks. He was the physical embodiment of what Batman is and should be.

Most people can't let go that it's Affleck. And that's fine, but you can't put your lack of perception on him.

I don't believe it, but you never know. I wonder if he's not happy with the new choice of director.
