Surely the world remembers M. Night Shymalan's (MNS) The Sixth Sense. It crept into theaters, and blew most people away with it's twist-ending.Bruce Willis was excellent (isn't he always?) and Haley Joel Osment was still adorable. Then we got Unbreakable. More Bruce Willis, with just a touch of Samuel L. Jackson. Signs did well, but some of the dazzle of MNS' formula was wearing off. The twists were expected, but he did stick Joaquin Phoenix and Mel Gibson together when both were on a career high.
