Although the show spans nearly a decade of time, there is certainly plenty of subject matter for the show to cover in the future. Queen Elizabeth II is 62 years into her reign and still ruling over the commonwealth of England. I’m hopeful for the future of the show — especially if it hires better writers — and look forward to the stories it may tell.
