Rick was completely and utterly owned. Negan makes the governor look like a Boy Scout. I hope they continue this trend of brutal grittiness that a post zombie apocalypse is expected to be. Don't know what kind of p**sy needs to ask did the show go to far. But go back to watching pretty little Liars if you can't handle an adult show. That frankly hasn't gone far enough.

This show always had crazy gore and gory scenes I don't know why people all of a sudden think it went over the top and was too much for TV....this is just plain stupidity. Season 7 Episode 1 was one of the best episodes Walking Dead had. This show is awesome! Glenn will be missed.

It was a bit gratuitous but it was necessary. Rick went too far just eliminating anyone he felt was a threat, in fact Rick become the new Governor if you really look at how they both did things.

Rick went in on the Survivors thinking he could just kill them all and not have any repercussion. And that Negan scene proved just how wrong Rick was.
