New shows in production include Idris Elba's new series Brazza, Aubrey Plaza's Nightmare Time, Joe 2.0 from Black-ish creator Courtney Lilly, Mary Kills People starring Hannibal's Caroline Dhavernas, Milo Ventimiglia's Kin, Will Sasso's Budding Prospects, Crawford from the creator of Trailer Park Boys, Brian Gallivan's 29, Reversible Error from Barbara Curry and Chris Morgan, and new adaptations of War of the Worlds, The Rainmaker, and The Bonfire of the Vanities. Meanwhile, renewals have been scored for Halt and Catch Fire, Van helsing, Deutschland 83, Glitch, and Scream. In other news, new oles have been cast in Riverdale, Brooklyn Nine Nine, The Disappearance, The Magicians, Frequency, and Mogadishu, Minnesota, as well as Let the Right One in, Stranger Things, Krypton, and the yet untitled Goode Wife spin-off.Other news this week includes Netflix picking up international (outside of North America and New Zealand) rights to SyFy's The Expanse, Louis CK's self funded Horace and Pete coming to Hulu, a picture released of Supergirl's James Olson as The Guardian, and rumors of Netflix offering offline streaming later this year.
