Fortunately we all know to take what€™s taken here with some trepidation; it€™'s often written in the contract for these stars to be all smiley and happy about the project.

You didn't miss much. The last three were literally the same just about different movies. The writer of the article seemingly gave up around the last 2. Still an interesting read.

Don't know why people expect so much to change story-wise in superhero movies, and also expect them to stay true to the comics. I haven't seen any superhero movie since Dark knight where something unexpected happen, and even that was a small scene.
