The opening numbers for the Clint Eastwood-directed Sully shows once again that audiences like Tom Hanks behind the wheel of most any passenger vehicle, whether it’s a jetliner or a cargo ship like he steered in Captain Phillips. He is eyeing another big vehicle. He’s more then eyeing it, he wrote the script. I’m told that Hanks has written and hopes to star in Greyhound, a WWII drama that Get Low helmer Aaron Schneider will direct. Hanks’ Playtone partner Gary Goetzman will produce.
