FGE - On the surface, Morgan is a really fascinating and promising sci-fi movie with a heavy concentration of great actors including Kate Mara, Toby Jones, Brian Cox, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and a cameo by Paul Giamatti. It’s about a team of scientists that have been working for years, in a reclusive secret facility, on a way to create tailored, synthetic humans. After a violent incident with the synthetic being, a risk-management consultant, Lee Weathers (Kate Mara; The Martian, House of Cards), comes to evaluate the project, Morgan (Anya Taylor-Joy; The Witch), and decide whether or not it needs to be terminated.
