Universal Pictures has pre-emptively purchased Laura Solon’s pitch Bodyguards for Scott Stuber’s Bluegrass Films. The storyline is being kept under wraps but it is said to be a female-driven action/comedy. Solon and Bluegrass have worked together on numerous projects. She is currently re-writing Bluegrass’ romantic comedy Let It Snow, which is based on the anthology of three intersecting short stories by YA novelists John Green, Maureen Johnson and
Lauren Myracle.
