Hollywood Life: Heading in to this, I had expectations from the trailer but not much else: I’m not a huge superhero fan and have a hard time following the insane DC web. However, that was different when it came to Suicide Squad. The premise of the film is simple: Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) rounds up her best vigilantes to fight. Naturally, Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) — the Joker’s lady, who’s behind bars for teaming up with him but getting caught, and Deadshot (Will Smith) — a hitman who never misses a shot — lead the pack along with Diablo (Jay Hernandez), Boomerang (Jai Courtney), and Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje). Together, their led by Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman), who has an emotional connection to the situation.
