While I don't think Spiderman 2 is the best overall movie about Superheros (I think the Dark Knight is a better movie,) it definitely remains my favorite, and in my opinion the best, 'superhero' movie (the Dark Knight isn't very superhero-ish.) I would have loved to see what the third could have been had the studio not shoehorned Venom in, even though Spiderman 3 is a bad movie, it had little tastes of potential here and there. (Although it's hardly the worst superhero movie out there, I would go so far as to say it's not as bad as many of the movies in Marvel and DC's current cinematic universes.)
