Film to End Your Quarter: ‘Top Gun'

The Daily of the University of Washington

It is impossible to name one movie that perfectly symbolizes all of ’80s cinema, but “Top Gun” comes pretty damn close. With a rebel who doesn’t play by the rules, a fantastically cheesy soundtrack, and a fair amount of aerial action, this movie embodies summer cinema in the decade of bomber jackets and classic romance.

The story is too old to be commented.

And to imagine that we now live in an era where fat old Val Kilmer is returning for a sequel. A SEQUEL.
