‘The Omen’ Follow-Up ‘Damien’ Canceled At A&E

Deadline:
Damien, the follow-up drama series to the iconic 1970s horror franchise The Omen, has been canceled after one season on A&E Networks. Creator and former The Walking Dead showrunner Glen Mazzara tweeted the news today and A&E confirmed the cancellation to Deadline.

The thriller series, which was plagued by low ratings throughout its 10-episode run, followed the adult life of Damien Thorn, the mysterious child from the 1976 feature who has grown up, seemingly unaware of the satanic forces around him. Haunted by his past, Damien now had to come to terms with his true destiny — that he is the Antichrist, the most feared man throughout the ages. Bradley James starred, along with Megalyn Echikunwoke, Omid Abtahi, David Meunier and Barbara Hershey.

I watched the first 3 episodes and found it interesting but also thought that it was not good enough for me to get hooked on it so I stopped watching it after that. I guess I'm glad now or I would be very upset to be left hanging again by A&E like I've been done so many times before.
