X-Men: Apocalypse isn't perfect by any means as it does feel a tad overlong and there are a handful of occasions where the special effects aren't that great (it's easy to spot the greenscreen in a shot with Apocalypse and his Four Horsemen standing on some very plastic looking rocks with a CGI background). Then there are the usual issues which are sure to frustrate comic book fans, like Beast being back in his human form for a big chunk of the movie. But hey, at least they have a good explanation for the black leather costumes this time!
