Idris Elba is in talks to star alongside Jessica Chastain in Aaron Sorkin’s directorial debut “Molly’s Game.”
Chastain is in negotiations for the lead role of Molly Bloom, based on the real-life story of a young, Olympic-class skier who ran an exclusive Hollywood high-stakes poker game for a decade before being arrested in the middle of the night by 17 FBI agents wielding automatic weapons. Her players included movie and sports stars, business moguls and finally, unbeknownst to her, the Russian mob. Elba will play her criminal defense lawyer.
