It's not trying to be like Marvel's Cinematic Universe at all. That's one of the biggest criticisms that non-DC fans have about the DC film universe. It's funny how the only comments I see you post on threads are negative comments without any kind of reinforcement or intelligent points to back your opinion.

Most of Marvel's characters they have created have been ripoffs of DC characters that existed long before their Marvel Ripoff counterparts.

Deadpool was a ripoff of Deathstroke, because the artist for Deadpool wanted to draw Deathstroke and didn't get to so he made Deadpool a more overpowered knockoff of Slade Wilson (Deathstroke) and named Deadpool Wade Wilson.

Thanos is a ripoff of Darksied.
The Justice League was around long before The Avengers was invented.
