So, why bring back the Barbershop franchise after all this time? Perhaps Ice Cube felt we just needed another visit with some familiar faces and a few new friends. Fortunately, the reason appears to be brimming with a lot more meaning. Without having spoken to Mr. Cube, it would appear that this film is a vehicle to talk to a generation in crisis.
