FGE - The Boss follows the successful and wealthy, yet egotistical CEO Michelle Darnell (Melissa McCarthy) in a “riches to rags” and back again comedy. On top of the world, Darnell lives the life of luxury as a stereotypically narcissistic millionaire. Her perfect life comes crashing down however, when she is busted for insider trading, and as a result, is sent to federal prison. With her estate and other assets seized by the federal government, she is forced to live with her ex-assistant Claire (Kristen Bell) and her daughter Rachel (Ella Anderson) until she is able to land back on her feet.
