FGE - The flagship of Netflix’s TV empire returned in early March, and House of Cards’ fourth season is an interesting beast. On the one hand, it is much more eventful than the emotionally draining third season. It doesn’t provide the same thrills that made the first two seasons so memorable—nobody gets mulched by a train—but there is still a lot going on, and the plot moves at a lively pace compared to the glacial crawl of season three. At the same time, it feels as if the entire season is building towards something that it never delivers, as there is an abrupt and jarring ending that leaves major plot threads dangling in the wind. Cliffhangers can be potent storytelling devices, but when they are used to end a season, they come off like a massive middle finger to the audience, and they reek of lazy writing.
Fight For Paradise Review: This reality show is nothing new but there are so many uncomfortable moments that will definitely give you the ick.
Brigands: The Quest For Gold Review: The Italian drama follows a group of brigands, embarking on a journey to reclaim power and some hidden gold.
Cash Out works better when it tries to be a rom-com rather than a heist movie.
