Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice Review | BagoGames

Dylan Schwan from BagoGames writes: Where does one even start to define what goes wrong with Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice? It could be accurately described as a set-up towards the forthcoming Justice League films. It could also be described as another Batman starring vehicle that doesn’t successfully help you root for Batman. Or maybe it’s another misstep in Superman’s legacy in film. Personally, I would just call it a boring film. And that’s the last thing in a movie filled with iconic characters and a two and a half hour running time that we want.

It was bad, but no way is a 2.5/10. At least a 6. Be real now, come on.

lockedongamer12947d ago (Edited 2947d ago )

It's his opinion. You can read the review or listen to the podcast to find out why he gave that score.

RetrospectRealm2947d ago

You think I commented without reading? Lol I'm saying I don't agree with him. That's my opinion.

thekhurg2946d ago

Don't need to. Any retard that scores this movie 2.5/10 doesn't need to be listened to.

aPerson2946d ago

If you thought it was bad, why the heck would you give it a 6?

RetrospectRealm2946d ago

Because I rate films on somewhat of a school grading scale. 60% is an F.

Fin_The_Human2946d ago

It was a horrible movie...the only reason I did not walk out of the movies was because I paid Imax price.

Ben was such a horrible Batman that I hope they change him in the next Batman movie, his acting was teeth cringeing.

Super Man was such a Sissy and they tried too hard to nerf him.

DC is pretty much dead for me when it comes to movies.

"DC is pretty much dead for me when it comes to movies."

The greatest superhero film ever was made by them only 8 years ago.

As much as I did not like this film I do agree that Affleck did a good job playing Batman.

Fin_The_Human2946d ago

Are you flipping serious bro?

To be Batman you don't even have to do much acting as his character is suppose to be this uptight serious millionaire... Tony Starks on the other has has personality and charisma.

Ben didn't even do a good job of trying ti be an uptight flamboyant millionaire.

Stringerbell2946d ago

No. Bruce Wayne puts on a show depending on the universe of being either a philanthropic millionaire or a depressed one. Affleck's portrayal of Bruce Wayne is an apathetic Bruce Wayne kind of like the uncaring one from batman Beyond. Thats what I liked.

cleft52946d ago

I loved Ben's portrayal of that Batman. He really brought out that unhinged aspect of Batman. I get why people aren't a fan of this movie, but I still think Ben did a great job.

Sahil2947d ago

I finally got a chance to see the movie yesterday and have to say that this movie didn't deserve to be shit on by the critics the way it was. It's not a perfect movie, and I had my fair share of problems with it...but I wouldn't say it was flat out horrible.

Fin_The_Human2946d ago

Thats true but you have to admit that the hype for this movie was to the roof.

Even Dead Pool out did this movie by a long shot.

neoragex2947d ago

Watched it last night and thought it was awful. Hated it. It’s a bad script, bad directing, too many characters and stories and the director didn’t have the tools to weave it all together.

Saithraphim2946d ago

well...wasnt a great movie...but i liked it. Id give it a 7
