Three-time Emmy award winning actress Patty Duke has died. She was 69.
According to her manager, Michelle Stubbs, Duke passes away early Tuesday due to sepsis from a ruptured intestine. “She was a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a friend, a mental health advocate and a cultural icon. She will be greatly missed,” Stubbs said.

I saw the old black and white movie The Miracle Worker. The Helen Keller story where she won an Oscar at 16 yrs old. She was so good and believable in that movie. I don't remember seeing her in anything else though.
