Variety: The Beverly Hills Film Festival has set the world premiere of “The Lennon Report” as its opening film on April 6 at the TCL Chinese Theatres, Variety has learned exclusively.
The film, produced by Gabriel and Rafael Francisco, is directed by Jeremy Profe from a script he co-wrote with Walter Vincent. It re-creates the aftermath of the 1980 murder of John Lennon as police officers, nurses and emergency doctors raced to save Lennon’s life at New York’s Roosevelt Hospital.
