EB: In the latest Star Wars-centric Buddhacast my partner Nick C. and I speculate on what Jedi Master Luke Skywalker will be up to in Star Wars Episode VIII. We figure he’ll at least get a speaking line and more than 2-minutes on screen, but what he’ll actually be doing is still a mystery.
Some of our theories revolve around his training of Rey and how that will go down, as well as possible flashbacks to see his failings with Ben Solo. We also ponder if we’ll get to see him fight, and if he’s more of a lightsaber combatant, for a powerful Force user. Finally, we question whether he’ll be killed off or not, as well as his potential familial bond to Rey.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
