TRR: More or less what you might expect from a Will Ferrell comedy, Daddy's Home feels tamer and more watered-down than what it should be; and, as a result, the level of hilarity often suffers. Still, the movie does have its share of laugh-out-loud moments, and at the end of the day, it's hard to go wrong with a comedic pairing like Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg, who have such a natural on-screen rapport that they could probably make this sort of movie in their sleep.
