Spoiler Free Review of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - Dual Pixels

Dual Pixels: "While Man of Steel was a good step, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was a giant leap into the DC Cinematic Universe, and it was nothing short of incredible. In my humble opinion, the fans are finally getting a great DC movie that is the perfect lead into The Justice League. There were even a few teasers for their stand alone movies as well."

Watched it last night. The fight scenes are nuts. Really captured the powers these guys wield. Best of course are the Batman scenes.

Ben did better than I expected. Not excellent but fairly good. He did capture Batmans weight of responsibility quite well. Snyder did well in casting his as a real leader, the brains of the group which Batman always was to JL.

Could have been edited better though and the movie I think took itself a bit too seriously.

Its not your usual PG superhero flick. Quite dark and grey including the characters like depressed in terms of personality. Same as Man of Steel in this regard.

No one is super chipper happy ray of sunshine which i guess is the tone they were going for.

Overall I would give it an 8 out of 10.

It would be interesting how they will move forward with JL and the tone they will take for those movies.

Typically in modern day comics these three characters are like that. The funny remarks and "brighter" characters will complement them in future movies if it is done right. That's how the books are at least.

DC has a good mix of dark tones with more fun characters pushing them.
