From Cinelinx:
This morning brings about a brand new trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse featuring tons of new footage, oodles of action, and a better look at the story in general.
Does the ultra-violent new movie, Boy Kills World, glorify violence or encourage a world without it? We see the latter.
Secrets of the Neanderthals Review: The Netflix documentary unearths some new discoveries about the Neanderthals, who disappeared off the face of Earth.
Shaz from GL takes a new look into the broader themes of one of Pixar's oldest animated feature films.
Can't wait for this one. First Class and Days of Future Past were great X-Men films, and I love the cast. Hope this concludes things nicely.
This looks pretty lousy. We've went from Wolverine and the Xmen to Mystique and some baby faced kids in cosplay. They need to make this the last one in this Universe and make Deadpool the start of a new one
Even the CGI looks pretty bad as well as butchering Apocalypse
Something about it just isn't clicking for me either. The world is ending and yet my mental response to everything I'm seeing is 'oh, alright then'.
The fact that Apocalypse is aiming for a disaster movie vibe is exactly the reason why I feel its trailers are washing over me every time I see them. I still think it's going to be a better movie than Batman v Superman, but I feel like its effects are compromising the character studies that made the franchise special. Even Batman v Superman's trailers had fantastic character spotlights – flawed as its characterization may be in the end product.
The world is ending? Nah, we know its not. As seen in the new future at the very end of DoFP which was set way after this movie.
Trailer did nothing for me. As mentioned above, looks nothing more than a standard disaster movie.
Didn't know Sansa Stark was in this in. Hopefully she's tormented by Joffreys ghost throughout the movie.
