Person of Interest Finally Has a Return Date (and Other CBS Scheduling News)

TV: Okay interesting people, get ready, because CBS has finally announced the Season 5 premiere date for Person of Interest. Are you ready? Are you sitting down? Do you have your PalmPilot out? Ready? Extra ready? Here we go. Person of Interest will return on Tuesday, May 3 at 10pm, taking over the timeslot from freshman drama Limitless.

And it's cancelled...of course because CBS would rather support crap like shitty Supergirl.

13 episodes is not enough to wrap everything up. It would probably have taken 13 episodes in a standard series to build up the Machine.

RetrospectRealm2961d ago

That's nothing new. It's been widely known for a long time that this was going to be the final season.

Not really it's been on and off...it looked unlikely but no official confirmation

RetrospectRealm2961d ago

JJ Abrams basically confirmed it months ago. The fact that they shortened the season and didn't bring it back in November was the nail in the coffin.

-Foxtrot2960d ago

But again it wasn't official, just his opinion on it.

Again unlikely but there was a chance they'd continue or get someone else to pick it up.

RetrospectRealm2960d ago (Edited 2960d ago )

Not sure where you're getting the "there was a chance" from. There's been nothing but random people saying "I hope Netflix" picks up. Nothing concrete to support that.

And JJ Abrams was a producer on the show. Lol

Not to mention, Nolan had already moved to Westworld. It was 99.99999999% certain it was not going further than Season 5.

That's what they'd been saying for sometime now as sad as it made me. I love the show and I wish Netflix would pick it up too.
