such a shame that this is a captain america movie but it seems the spotlight is over spider-man and other characters. this should almost be the 3rd avengers movie....

Exactly.

The biggest problem I have with it...this has nothing to do with the quality of the film by the way

The entire marketing for this has been "Who's Side Are You On?"

They then talk about how they hope people root for Stark, how he isn't a villain and how they tried to fix what the comic did to his character.

HOWEVER...they decided it would be a good idea to call the film "CAPTAIN AMERICA: Civil War".

How can you ask people to pick a side and not try to make Stark come off as a villain when people are going to look at the title, see this is from Steve's point of view and think totally differently.

Chris Evans should have gotten one last solo film with just him, Bucky and Black Widow...maybe a mission to find him or something.

Then you could have kept Civil War as the first film after Infinity War and what ever happens in the film is when the Government put their foot down on them. You'd have more characters, you could split it into two films, not have it about Bucky and Steves friendship, see Steve get killed off and then see Stark become the leader of a new Shield. In the end this would set up and establish the new Avengers with Bucky taking over Cap. Either do that or this should have been two parters. Civil War: Captain American and then Civil War: Iron Man, showing both sides at different times to fill in each others gaps.

They rushed into this...and for what? So they could use it as a Captain America film. Civil War was not just on Cap it was on everyone.

lol you people not liking this trailer is one thing but bashing it because they are using Civil war tag lines? who side are you on? when most of you loved the second BvS trailer which was doomsday from hell and then you support all this "who will win"? Batman or superman lol

This isnt Civil War from the comics so stop comparing it to it. does it have the some of the same elements yes. Go watch Avengers it started there.
