I too think it's actually pretty boring. The only reason people watch it because is becuase they are so connected to the characters. I think it used to be pretty good, but now it's pretty boring.

If these were characters we did not know anything about in these situations, I'm pretty sure no one would watch this show.

First season was the best season. Then they screwed up for a few seasons, now there's a new director and it's much better. But ya, I do still wish there was a zombie show that didn't feature so much TV magic. Now I only watch because they still haven't caught up to where I'm at in the comics.

Hah! If you're not paying a few people off your not doing SOMETHING right. It's just typical hate from non-conformists. They're too cool to like popular shows. And this is coming from someone that normally don't have a popular opinion.

Sadly we will get maybe 1 more action oriented episode, and then it will be 5 "dealing with it" episodes, 1 random character back story episode, and then an epic finale....

Whoever is in charge of writing out the entire storyline is really bad at it. They need to learn how to build and maintain a climax, not have 3 or 4 of them throughout a season.

(Note I actually like the show, but Im critiquing it so it gets better)

I don't understand why people always say this. You say its the same ol' same ol', but this is one of the very few tv shows that start out at a climax, so of course its going to have slower more steady episodes in between these climaxes. It's a completely different formula to most other tv shows. I don't see how thats a bad thing. Besides it has many climaxes.

Wasnt saying same ole same ole.

The first season did a good job of building a climax. We wanted to see the CDC, we got to it, they spent time at the peak, then it blew up and we drop back down.

Ever since they spent way too much time safe on the farm they forgot how to build that season long climax arch. Instead what we get is paper thin climaxes, and it randomly peaks here or there which doesn't make it as powerful as it should be.

This season has been so paper thin and all over the place, they haven't even really introduced a real villain or threat.
