COG writes: The X-Files revival stumbles slightly with a disjointed tale that tries to weave monsters into Scully's personal life. While there is some definite emotional gravity to be found and there are some great moments, the A and B plots struggle to mesh well in Home Again.
City Hunter Review: The manga adaptation unravels the tragic beginning of Ryo Saeba and Kaori Makimura's partnership.
Deliver Me Review: The Swedish series follows two troubled teen and their troublesome lives when one of them is shot dead.
Fight For Paradise Review: This reality show is nothing new but there are so many uncomfortable moments that will definitely give you the ick.
I think I will attack this once the entire season is out.
I've been hearing such mixed review on this one that I'm torn on what to think about it!
I like watching this, but whereas the first two episodes made it feel like some big revelation/plot was brewing, the next two episodes have just had their own standalone stories. I thought all six episodes would have a consistent plot working in the background while going through cases, but it just feels like they filmed separate standalone episodes with nothing really connecting them.
It's a great episode. It's simply a metaphor.. people putting too much emphasis and effort on such a basic human instinct.
They have 6 episodes and 2 of them have been wasted imo on poor monster of the week episodes.
If it was 12 or 24 episodes then they could gamble with the odd silly episode, but they need to make the mythology plot strong.
Fox have renewed TV series that are getting 3 million viewers avarage , and X-Files are currently at 10 million avarage and dropped from 16 million the first night, but still hold a safe 18-49 demographic rating, so if it holds out, we could be in for another season, i sure hope so.
