Justice League Action Coming to Cartoon Network with Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill

CB: Justice League Action, the long-rumored new Justice League animated series, was officially announced by Cartoon Network Friday. The animated show, based on DC Comics characters, has no official release date, but is listed as "coming soon" in a press release.

Notably, the series will include Kevin Conroy reprising his role as Batman, which he's been playing since Batman: The Animated Series in 1992, making this his twenty-fifth year with the character. His counterpart since then has been Mark Hamill as the Joker, and he will also make his return for Justice League Action. They'll be joined by James Woods as Lex Luthor, Diedrich Bader (the voice of Batman on Batman: The Brave and the Bold) as Booster Gold, and many more thus-far unannounced voice actors.

Not a big fan of the art style but if they go in the story direction of the old Justice League series that'll be great.

Jeez...what's with the really kiddy artstyle, the majority of the animated stuff has had some really good styles.

I think it has something to do with it being a kids cartoon TV show.

Lol....oh and the other cool animated stuff they had for kids like Justice League and Batman the animated series had the same style

A lot of them have had less kid like styles

RetrospectRealm1358d ago

Why would they keep the same style as the shows they've previously done when this is not within the same Universe? Think, man. Think. Lol

Wish they went with young justice style. DC been lacking with animated tv series guess they'll be continuing that trend. Marvel's spiderman and avengers is going to be good.

"...each eleven-minute episode..."

You're kidding me right?

Not looking good. The art style combined with the fact that they are 11 minute episodes.... this most likely will be a goofy nature show like TT Go.....

Got my hopes up there for a second, I thought CN was finally bringing back something good.
