"While this was a delightfully fast-paced start to the new season, it was missing one key ingredient that made season one so special: Peggy’s friendship with Angie. Because season one Peggy was still getting over Steve, she couldn’t pursue a traditional romance. Not only did her friendship with Angie fill that story void, it provided a fresh take on the importance of female friendships, especially as Peggy tried to make it in a man’s world. It could be that Jarvis’s wife, Ana, whom we finally meet this episode, fills that role for Peggy, but I was sad to see a character I loved so much completely missing from the first hour."
