In the early ’90s, The X-Files was a cultural happening, right up there with Pogs and the Bartman. It hit at a perfect moment, spawning catchphrases and racy fan fiction that helped shape the early days of the Internet. With The X-Files: Fight the Future and The X-Files: I Want to Believe airing this month on IFC, we thought we’d revisit some of the scariest episodes the show ever produced. Wake up your inner ’90s child, and let them know they won’t being going to sleep tonight, because the truth is out there, and it is freaking terrifying.
City Hunter Review: The manga adaptation unravels the tragic beginning of Ryo Saeba and Kaori Makimura's partnership.
Deliver Me Review: The Swedish series follows two troubled teen and their troublesome lives when one of them is shot dead.
Fight For Paradise Review: This reality show is nothing new but there are so many uncomfortable moments that will definitely give you the ick.
I agree with most of this list; "Chinga" sucked, in my opinion. "Home" and "Detour" are fvcking amazing!
Without a doubt, 'Home' one of the finest things ever on TV let alone a 'X-Files' episode.
It's kind of sad to me because 'Home' was the reason I was watching 'The X-Files' - that's what I wanted to see, those kind of episodes, sadly though they went with the whole Alien abduction/conspiracy for the majority of it's time on the air (and the 2 movies). It was the reason I stopped watching it, long before it finally went off air.
Oh God, definately 'Home' at number one. It was a fantastic piece of writing. Also pretty nice to see 'Our Town' get some props.
