Sequels don’t come much lazier than Ride Along 2, which is kind of ironic, because the 2014 hit was already pretty damn lazy, amounting to little more than ‘Hey, we’ve put Ice Cube and Kevin Hart in a movie together’. That appears to have been enough for audiences, however, as the original film ended up taking over $150m worldwide, so the inevitable sequel doesn’t bother changing anything except the location.
