Kimishima Teases Movie And Anime Licensing

Rumours of Nintendo licensing out their intellectual properties for movies and television shows are hardly a rare occurrence, especially considering the recent appearance of Super Mario foe Bowser in DIsney’s Wreck-It Ralph and then-President Satoru Iwata dismissing a popular rumour of a The Legend Of Zelda Netflix production last year. Outside of vague references towards character licensing however, the Japanese gaming company hadn’t explicitly stated plans for multimedia adaptations; although this may have changed.

Bet it's just a Wreck-it-Ralph announcement in the making, nothing extraordinary. Nintendo's never going to take a Super Mario Bros. level chance with its IPs unless the video game movie market is already proven if Warcraft and Assassin's Creed succeed.
