2015 has been a fascinating year for film. We’ve seen three of the highest grossing opening weekends of all time and the release of a fair share of sequels and reboots, but the artistry behind said “blockbusters” has ratcheted up beyond a simple cash-grab (although yes, there are still plenty of those too). Films like Creed and Mad Max: Fury Road prove that you can reboot an existing property while still treating the film as a unique piece of art, and movies like Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation offer compelling twists to the sequel formula, maintaining a freshness that refuses to devalue the feature film to the equivalent of an episode in a long-running TV series. And that’s to say nothing of the many tremendous comedies, dramas, and independent films that hit theaters over the past 12 months. In short, it’s been a great year to be a fan of movies.

Going Home With Tyler Cameron Review: This is a simple, no-nonsense but cliched watch, with Cameron's boyish charms taking centre stage.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
