With Christmas Eve a typically slower movie date, this is a 48% drop from the Wednesday performance, but was to be expected as many of the key offshore territories found folks focused on the holiday. The worldwide cume is now $813.5M through Thursday. Christmas Day can be a mixed bag, but weekend business will pick right up again and very likely propel the Resistance to $1B by the time Sunday estimates are in.
