Not bad! but GTA 5 still holds the general record

overrated443066d ago

A record in a completely different industry, in which each individual product sold is $60 compared to the price of a movie ticket which is $20 max, that's a ridiculous comparison.

Hence why i used the world "General" before i said record my friend, GTA 5 holds this record "Fastest entertainment property to gross $1 billion" which star wars also falls under so my argument was a valid one, also remember how many people got to see star wars compared to how many people got to play GTA 5 so that also balances out the cost per ticket compared to the cost per game therefore making it a very fair fight. Now please tell me, why is this a ridiculous comparison?

Because one of those things sells for $10-$20 per purchase while the other sells for $60. It's like saying the selling a gram of gold brought in more money than the selling of a gram of steel, one of those things costs far more than the other. But I already explained that to you and you decided to completely ignore it. So why would I expect you to consider it the second time.
