Sometimes you just want to escape reality. You want to leave work, school, and the mundane madness behind, and just wrap yourself up in a blanket of rich fantasy. Films have been servicing this need for decades, bringing bizarre and charming Other Worlds to our screens. And sure, you could read a good fantasy book, but that takes ages. And you're busy.
So, we've rounded up the 50 best fantasy films of all time, and tethered them together with magic rope (or 'a gallery feature', as it's known in this realm). Why not lose yourself in one of these amazing movies?
Fight For Paradise Review: This reality show is nothing new but there are so many uncomfortable moments that will definitely give you the ick.
Bros Review: The series, as the title suggests, is about two adult men who want to behave like children and we are not here for that.
Going Home With Tyler Cameron Review: This is a simple, no-nonsense but cliched watch, with Cameron's boyish charms taking centre stage.
If Lord of the Rings isn't the greatest fantasy film series of all time (discounting The Hobbit trilogy), then it's based on the source material that all fantasy films rest upon in the 21st century.
LOTR will always be my favourite movies of all time. Lost count how many times I've watched the Extended versions. Love them to bits.
Where the hell is Highlander?
