Steven Spielberg is still interested in making Indiana Jones 5 and echoes producer Frank Marshall in saying Harrison Ford won't be replaced.

I'm not actually against a recasting of the character so long as they're selective with the actors in question.

Ford will always be to Indiana Jones what Connery is to Bond but that doesn't mean he has to be the only.

I think I'd like to see Jones become a timeless franchise.

Very possible, but i think it would be easier to do more adventures with Indiana Jones that could continue the story, with back to the future they would have to start again.

Spielberg would never do that though. Indiana Jones is a different story each time. Back To The Future is one continuous story.

Plus, Lucas gave Star Wars and Indiana Jones is just as much his as it is Spielberg's. Spielberg would probably gladly hand it off to some young director.
