The National Board of Review on Tuesday revealed its 2015 film awards, naming Mad Max: Fury Road as the best film.
Despite receiving the top prize, best film was the only award won by the post-apocalyptic blockbuster starring Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy. Released in May, the $150 million film has made $375.8 million worldwide.
Multiple NBR award winners include The Martian, Room, The Hateful Eight and Beasts of No Nation.
A Tom Hardy classic is finding new life on Netflix right now - 2015's acclaimed action flick Mad Max: Fury Road.
A blast from start to finish, this Canadian-New Zealand film combines several 80s genres like post-apocalyptic fun, gruesome b-movie horror violence, and teen-wish fulfilment to hugely entertaining effect, instantly becoming a cult favourite.
The actress says trusting her director more would've made "Fury Road" a lot easier to shoot.
Really?
Patiently waiting for the BR release that contains the symphonic and black and white cuts.
