Luther Special Gets December Airdate

IGN:
Luther's return to television will occur on December 17th at 9:00pm ET/PT, BBC America has announced.

Idris Elba (The Wire, Thor) will be returning to play the self-destructive near-genius, Detective Chief Inspector John Luther, who will be continuing his journey to rid London from the psychopaths that populate its streets.

In this three-hour event, Luther's desire to lead a normal life will be pushed to the side when he gets pulled into a "terrifyingly complex case" that centers around a cannibalistic serial killer.

This is the best news I've heard today. I loved this show and was thinking it wouldn't come back at all. It's always busy in December but it won't be too busy for me to miss watching this.

Ive never really given it a chance. Tend to avoid most of the shit the BBC churns out..

Think I seen it on Netflix so might give it a go once I'm finished with a few other series as don't like to have too many things on the go at once.

BBC has some good shows. Check out Luther and Peaky Blinders.

BBC America has some great stuff. Orphan Black if one of the best shows out there right now that you just get hooked on once you watch the first episode or two. I would highly recommend that one too.

Very excited for it, but don't really want it to be 3 hours long, way too long!
