Paper Towns Blu-ray Review | The Reel Roundup

TRR: Take one best-selling young-adult novel, supermodel-turned-actress Cara Delevingne and the same screenwriting team that brought us last year's smash hit The Fault in Our Stars, and what do you get? The answer is Paper Towns, the second big screen adaptation from award-winning author John Green. Named for the technique used by cartographers to discourage unauthorized reproductions of their maps, the film sees Delevingne playing Margo Roth Spiegelman, a popular and enigmatic Orlando high school senior who vanishes without a trace. Delevingne stars opposite Nat Wolff as Quentin Jacobsen, a friend of Margo's who sets out to find her by solving a series of clues she's left behind, eventually embarking on a cross-country road trip with his best friends, Radar (Justice Smith) and Ben (Austin Abrams), Radar's girlfriend, Angela (Jaz Sinclair), and Margo's former best friend, Lacey (Halston Sage). Their destination: Algoe, New York, America's most famous paper town. With a likable cast and even a cameo by The Fault in Our Stars' Ansel Elgort, Paper Towns is sure to please the book's loyal fan base. And with an excellent technical presentation and a slew of hi-def bonus features, this Blu-ray is sure to as well.
